The 단군기원 (檀君紀元) is the traditional Korean calendar whose beginning is marked by the foundation of 고조선 (古朝鮮), the first kingdom on the Korean Peninsula, in 2333 BC. The months are lunar months and distinguished by the twelve 지지 (地支).

Dates of solstices/equinoxes were computed by formulas from table 26.B (pp. 166) from Jean Meeus' Astronomical Algorithms.
